For group hunting of small game the hunting guests often choose the brackade hunting. This is the way of hunting with the help of dogs barking loudly in order to scare the small game from their hideouts.

In the special purpose state hunting grounds we carry out brackade hunting of pheasants, grey partridge, mallard and brown hare.

The mallard hunting takes place in the LPN Ljubljanski vrh, near the capital city of Slovenia, and in the LPN Fazan Beltinci along the Mura river.

The pheasant hunting is organized in the LPN Fazan Beltinci and the LPN Kompas Peskovci near cultivated farmland and isolated forestal areas. Both hunting grounds are situated in the lowlands and together with undulating hills form part of the Pannonian Plain.
