Stand hunting

Stand hunting conducted in the special purpose state hunting grounds is usually the choice of hunting guests who love watching and waiting for game in one place. Hunting guests await game together with professional hunters in the high seats or on the ground. High seats in the hunting grounds are placed in areas where game come to graze, along their paths or at crossings, bilges or feeding sites, aimed at attracting game.

We need to approach the high seat or selected place of hunting imperceptibly, and before the game arrives. Thus, we do not disturb the game, making them feel safe, and therefore continue to stay in the areas of placedhigh seats.

Stand hunting is performed in every LPN in Slovenia. Hunting grounds are situated in different landscapes and climates, from the High Karst Unit and the Alps to the Dinaric world and the Pannonian Plain, therefore hunting by stalking in our hunting grounds is suitable for all true hunters.
