Group hunting of wild boars is carried out in the special purpose state hunting grounds, often as a loud hunt out. Group hunting of wild boars is composed of an agreed number of hunters divided into beaters and shooters. The beaters are experienced hunters, who are familiar with the terrain and the dens of wildboars. In the case of loud hunt out the drover loudly pounds with sticks or by using wooden ratchet, thus causing noise in order to move and direct the wild boars toward the shooters. Usually, beaters are assisted by appropriately trained gun dogs which are able to locate wild boars in their hideouts and drive them away.
