Hunting methods

In the Hunting Grounds with Special Purpose (LPN), organized within the Slovenia Forest Service, hunting is conducted with respect for Slovenia’s rich hunting tradition and ethics, both in the open wilderness and in two large fenced hunting areas. We are best known for stalking and stand hunting, but we also organize group hunts, drives for big game, and battue hunts for small game. The most attractive hunting experiences for most hunting guests take place during the mating season, with the most exciting being red deer hunting during the rut and roe deer and chamois hunting during the rutting period.
